Trilithic Rotary Attenuator. Model RA-71-F. 0 to 70 dB in 10dB steps. 75 Ohm impedance. Type F Female connectors. Google for more specs. These are out of a production lab, so they have had use and may have a few nicks, scrapes, dings, labeling/markings, fading, dirt, sticker residue, etc. Listed as used.
This one does not have detent stops if that is important to you!
These are perfect for ham radio fox hunt use and other signal finding or searching needs, or as intended as a test bench attenuator. The body measures 2-7/8" long and about 1-7/8" inches in diameter. The knobs add about 3/4" to the length. For a Fox Hunt you can often use a hose clamp to attach theses to the boom or hand hold of your antenna and adjust as you hunt or sweep for the signal. Some will use the appropriate flexible jumpers and simply put the attenuator in their coat pocket or pouch. Need more signal attenuation, simply cascade more than one attenuator.
We sell may types of RF connectors and adapters, so if the connector on the attenuator isn't what fits your cables, just ask us and we can tell what we have that will work.
Many ask since these are 75 Ohms will that matter. It won't matter for a fox hunt and really won't matter in most cases of spectrum inspection or for using on a test bench vs the 50 Ohm versions. In some precision measurements on a test bench 75 Ohms vs 50 Ohms might matter, but not for attenuating a fox hunt or other spectrum signals.
