DIN Connectors - The 7/16 DIN is a higher power and larger connector design. A 50 Ohm impedance design it is a very common connector in cellular, pcs and other broadcast areas of interest. The 7/16 indicator is significant for 7 and 16 mm where the 7mm is the diameter of the inner contact and the 16mm is the diameter of the outer contact measurement. Originally considered a low pim design, the standard 7/16 DIN connector is also spec'ed in a LOW PIM design. The thread is a 29mm by 1.5mm pitch. DIN connectors come is a variety of sizes such as 13-30, 25-58 as well as 1.0/2.3, 1.6/5.6, 4.1.9.5 and 4.3/10 to name a few.
