A thimble is easy to use and helps prevent chafing to the guy wire or rope where it wraps around an anchor or other wire support. It also helps protect the anchor from wear from the rope or guy wire. 

If you use tiny wires for HOA or hidden antenna purposes many times the antenna wire or wire support can be cut in two by rubbing on the mounting support. These thimbles are the solution to that as the thimble stops the wire from rubbing on the mounting.

Use these for permanent rigging or as temporary rigging for such things as POTA, emergency ops and other portable activities.
