Works great for supporting Dipoles, Inverted Vees, Loops, End Fed and Random Wire antennas!
These are great pulleys for your antennas! Many have asked us for a all metal pulley to hold up antennas and such and this fits the need well.
The sheave is metal and is 1-1/4", it has a nice edge and 1/4" groove. Use one at each corner of your loop to equalize the span pulls and sags. Helps to prevent wear on your antenna wire by allowing the spans to move as they shrink and expand. The hanger eye is on a fixed mounting and will pass about 1/2" diameter cable or rope.
For dipoles these work great for the center support pulley either on a pipe or mast or the side of your tower. Run a hoist rope through the pulley and raise and lower the dipole center without fuss and climbing.
If you are using trees or other things that can move in the wind for the end supports on your dipoles or other wire antennas, these work great for the end support to place the counter weight. When the wind blows and the tree moves, the wire moves easy in the pulley which helps minimize wire breakage and insulator breaks.
Intended only for antenna supports - these are not rated nor intended for overhead load support or to support a person. Always use caution with things above your head!
