From a military application, these are replacement coils with some nice coil wire. We don't know the exact gauge, but we believe it is "about" 38 gauge as it measures "about" .008" . The length is also not known, but as small as the wire is it has to be reasonably long. The coil of wire measures about 3/4" tall x 7/8" across. Hollow core of course. We are going to make a guess there is about 1/4" or more of winding depth. Although we don't know the wire makeup, being from a older mil application it isn't some of the newer cheaper imported unknown wire being sold today. As shown in two colors of coiling wire coating, our choice of coil color or coating sent and we can't pick and choose. Some had labels with the mil part number (FSCM 57712 000224M), hence the white residue seen on some. Enjoy!
