Shield twists into mount, the center RF wire solders to the connection.
While these are not designed for mobile use, these are handy for making antenna mounts, for antennas having a UHF male connector. The thread is long to work as a mount. Just be sure to add a flat gasket under the chrome bezel like those we sell in our store to help keep out water and add RTV to the threads. They are also very handy for making patch panels for your antenna connectors, they look nice compared to the normal UHF female. For your work bench, they look nice as well.
